Two EBPI researchers were recently awarded project funding from the Swiss
National Science Foundation. Prof. Dr. Meichun Mohler-Kuo, together with Prof. Markus Landolt of the UZH Psychology Institute received funding for theSwiss Youth Epidemiological Study on Mental Health, which will provide updates on major mental disorders among youth in Switzerland – including prevalence rates, treatment seeking, and how other factors affect these. Prof. Dr. Torsten Hothorn’s project Model-Based Recursive Partitioning for Stratified Medicine was also selected for funding.
This project develops statistical methods for the selection and analysis of biomarkers that help predict effects of treatment in the field of stratified (or personalized) medicine.
