EBPI Researcher elected
as a member of the National
Commission for Tobacco Prevention

EBPI researcher David Fäh was elected as a member of the national commission
for tobacco prevention (Eidgenössische Kommission für Tabakprävention, EKTP).
The mandate lasts 4 years until 2020.

The EKTP was founded in 1998 to advise the Federal Council on tobacco prevention. The commission is comprised of interdisciplinary experts in prevention including
cantonal authorities, health leagues, social and prevention medicine practitioners, as
well as experts from health economics, public relations, tobacco prevention and health promotion.
