18.07.2016Congratulations to Sebastian Meyer for receiving the outstanding dissertation award

The EBPI congratulates Sebastian Meyer for receiving the Faculty of Science award for outstanding dissertations. His PhD thesis is titled "Statistical Methods for the Spatio-Temporal Modelling of Infectious Disease Spread" and was supervised by Leonhard Held. The award recognizes the top 5% of theses in the field for high scientific quality. Sebastian will be starting a postdoc this fall at the  Institut für Medizininformatik, Biometrie und Epidemiologie (IMBE) at the Friedrich Alexander Universität of Erlangen Nürnberg.
