In its research on working life, the Center closely collaborates with companies as well as with employer and employee associations.
Besides this direct dissemination of Salutogenesis into the corporate world, the scientific community is reached by
- Scientific publications
- Presentations at national and international conferences.
Further, the Center of Salutogenesis supports two international initiatives that propagate Salutogenesis research and possible avenues of practical implementation.
Global Working group of salutogenesis
The Global Working Group of Salutogenesis was founded in 2007 as part of the International Union of Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE). This group of 19 international experts strives “to advance the science of salutogenesis”. Currently, the group is chaired by the head of the Center (contact: Georg Bauer). Society for Theory and Research on Salutogenesis (STARS)
STARS was founded by the Global Working Group of Salutogenesis in July 2017. It provides a transdisciplinary platform for the scientific exchange on Salutogenesis across disciplines. STARS aims to advance and promote the theory and research base of Salutogenesis. Currently, STARS is hosted and coordinated by the Center of Salutogenesis (contact: Rebecca Brauchli).
