Short Biography
Originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, Evangelia (Evelina) Kotzakioulafi earned her BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from ATEITH in 2017. Subsequently, worked as a research assistant at the Diabetes Center of the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki AHEPA from 2017 to 2023. During this time, she attained two master's degrees at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki: an MSc in Applied Nutrition and Health Promotion (specializing in Clinical Medical Nutrition) in 2022, and a MMedSci in New Methods and Technologies in Diabetes Mellitus Treatment in 2026. In April 2026, she started her PhD at the EBPI under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sabine Rohrmann. Her doctoral research focuses on how Swiss children adhere to sustainable diets as part of the MenuCH Kids project.
