Short Biography
After completing my PhD in Neuroscience at UZH, where I worked primarily in preclinical research, I decided to transition into clinical research to move beyond lab research and contribute more directly to improving patients’ quality of life. I joined the EBPI as a Clinical Research Intern under the supervision of PD Dr. Cesar Hincapié, supporting the coordination of the SALuBRITY clinical study. This study compares spinal manual therapy with corticosteroid nerve root injections for the management of sciatica and aims to generate high-quality evidence to inform treatment decisions and improve care for individuals experiencing back-related leg pain.
