Short Biography
I obtained a Master's degree in Machine Learning from the Universitat de Barcelona, a MSc in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and a BSc in Economics (specializing in Statistics and Quantitative Methods) from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Before starting my PhD, I spent several years as a researcher and data analyst, applying econometric modeling and machine learning to individual-level demographic and health data. As a PhD student, I am part of the SINERGIA project, titled "From single disease reductionist research to informed Machine Learning: a new research paradigm for multimorbidity." My work centers on causal inference and on statistical and machine learning methods for analyzing multimorbidity trajectories.
