Anne - Annegret Borchard, MSc

Short Biography

Anne studied Nutritional Science at the University of Bonn and earned a Master of Public Health from the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine at the Universities of Basel, Bern, and Zurich. She also holds Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS) in science journalism, moderation, and rhetoric.

Since 2020, she has been working at the EBPI, where she coordinates ges.UND?, the health blog of the UZH (https://www.uzh.ch/blog/ebpi-gesund/). In the summer of 2023, she took on responsibility for communication activities at the Population Research Center at the University of Zurich (https://www.prc.uzh.ch/en.html) and is also actively involved in EBPI’s communication efforts.

Before joining the EBPI, Anne worked at Cochrane Switzerland, where she published blog articles (https://wissenwaswirkt.org)), contributed to review processes for Knowledge Impact, and helped disseminate scientific evidence. She was also involved in the activities of the Cochrane Public Health Group (https://ph.cochrane.org).

Earlier in her career, she worked in health policy at both the federal and intercantonal levels.
