Lena Steck completed a BSc in Agricultural Sciences at ETH Zurich and a BSc in Veterinary Medicine at UZH. Subsequently, she attained her MSc in Health Sciences and Technology again at ETH Zurich, specializing in Human Health, Nutrition, and Environment. In January 2026, she started her PhD at the EBPI under the supervison of Prof. Dr.  Esther Bastiaannet. Her doctoral reseach focuses on the epidemiology of breast cancer in older patients.
