Liliana Barrios is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Digital Society Initiative (University of Zurich) and affiliated with the Swiss Data Science Center (ETH Zurich). She is the PI of the FIDO clinical trial, a DSI- and Innosuisse-funded multicenter study developing digital outcomes assessments for fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis and post-COVID. The study leverages wearable sensors, smartphone-based ecological momentary assessments, and microbiome analysis to derive objective, continuous measures of fatigue. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich and brings expertise in HCI and wearable sensing to translating these digital tools into practical clinical care.
