Short Biography
I received my PhD in Biostatistics in 2019 at the University of Zurich (in the EBPhD program). After that I left academia and worked as a statistician in the Data Team of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) from February 2019 to June 2022. During my time at the SNSF I had the chance to contribute to the yet sparse Research on Research (RoR) literature and got more and more involved and interested in metaresearch. This is what brought me back to University of Zurich, first as a postdoc and now as a senior researcher. My research interest span research on reproducibility and how we can improve reproducibility in science to research and initiatives on the way we are assessing researchers for funding and promotion.
