Jenny Crawford moved with her family to Switzerland in June 2018. Her role as Scientific Manager for the Department of Public Health within the EBPI is her first in Switzerland and is a dream job.
Before joining EBPI, Jenny worked as the Foundational Sciences Program Manager of the University of California, San Francisco`s medical school for five years. In this role, she implemented the role out of the cutting edge Bridges Curriculum, oversaw the evaluation process of the new curriculum, and supported faculty in the day-to-day running of their new courses. She also directed a summer program aimed at incubating and developing student-led research projects.
In addition to this, Jenny contributed to grant submissions to fund the new curriculum and presented scholarly work regarding the innovations of the curriculum at medical education conferences. Previous to her role at UCSF, Jenny worked as a Sexual Health educator in the Bay Area and a Spanish teacher.
In her position as Scientific Manager, Jenny is responsible for the management of grant submissions, internal and external communication, strategy development and other administrative tasks relevant to the research output of the Department.
