Short Biography

Viktoriia Yasenok works as a researcher at the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute of the University of Zurich. Before joining the EBPI in 2022 she worked as an Associate professor at the Department of Public Health of Sumy State University (Ukraine) for about 10 years. She graduated and completed a PhD in Medicine with a specialization in Pediatrics at the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University in 2013 (Ukraine). Her main research areas are infectious and chronic disease epidemiology. Since 2020 at EBPI run a school-based Corona seroprevalence study to study the impact of the pandemic on school-children and the school system, which is headed by Prof. Susi Kriemler. Viktoriia is a member of this team. Also she works in the team of Prof. Milo Puhan.
