Dafne is a California native who completed a dual bachelor's degree in Human Biology and Global Health at UC San Diego and later, an MSc in Epidemiology at the University of Basel. She joined the EBPI to work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Esther Bastiaannet and Prof. Dr. Milo Puhan in February 2022. Her doctoral research focuses on the application of causal inference methodologies to improve analyses using observational data in the field of Geriatric Oncology.
