Short Biography
I am a senior researcher at the Center of Salutogenesis and Division of Public & Organizational Health. I completed my PhD in 2019. Before coming to Zurich, I completed a bachelor's and master's degree in Psychology, with a focus on Work, Health, and Clinical Psychology, at the University of Konstanz, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) Munich. My research and teaching focus on work and mental health, particularly on promoting and maintaining mental health in the workplace. This includes fostering well-being and work engagement, preventing stress and burnout, and reducing stigma related to mental health at work. I am especially interested in salutogenic processes in individuals facing psychosocial stressors due to specific life circumstances or structural disadvantages. My goal is to understand how workplace environments can actively support mental health, especially for those navigating complex personal and societal challenges.Alongside my research, I practice as a clinical psychologist with a psychodynamic focus.
