Methods Expertise & Consulting

Modern technology can help us gather large amounts of data that contain the answers to important medical questions. To find these answers you need special skills, such as an understanding of biostatistics or epidemiology.  As specialists we know how to analyze data from research projects and offer guidance to other research scientists. We also improve established research methods and develop new ones.

The EBPI serves as a reference for the development and implementation of methodologically sound research in medical and life sciences at  USZ,  UZH  and  ETH Zurich. Our expertise covers design, conduct, data analysis and interpretation of observational studies, registries, randomized trials, and meta-analyses. In particular, we are a leading institute for bench-to-population translational research.

We collaborate closely with other centers of the Faculties of Medicine and Science (Horten Centre, Clinical Trials Center, Faculty of Science Statistical Consulting Service at IMATH).

Methodological Consulting, Statistical Design and Analysis
