Short Biography

Kang joined the Department of Public & Organisational Health/ Center of Salutogenesis at the EBPI as a PhD candidate in August 2021. She completed her B.Soc.Sci. (Hons) double majoring in Economics and Psychology with a specialisation in applied and policy economics at the National University of Singapore in 2016. She also holds an M.A. in Management and Economics with a minor in Data Science at the University of Zurich until early 2021. Over the years, she has gained research experience in several research projects across various fields including psychology, behavioural economics, management, water policy and governance, social service and entrepreneurship. Despite so, she has a strong interest in psychology with a particular focus in the work and/or health context, which also led her to pursue her Masters thesis on the effects of educators’ mindsets on decision making of skills development for the future of work and this PhD.
