Giulia Pestoni studied Human Movement Science at ETH Zurich, focusing on
exercise physiology and nutrition. After her master’s degree, she completed a
Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Nutrition and Health at ETH Zurich. She
joined the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute as PhD candidate
in July 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sabine Rohrmann. Her project
focuses on the characterization of food consumption and dietary patterns in the
Swiss population. She also works at the Cancer Registry of the Cantons Zurich
and Zug since January 2016.
