I joined the Biostatistics Department in September 2010 as a scientific coordinator (40%) of the new Master in Biostatistics program of the University of Zurich. By now I am also responsible for the PhD Program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
Before joining the institute I was a Postdoc in statistical climatology in Quebec and Colorado and a statistician at the Nestlé research center near Lausanne. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2001 at EPF Lausanne and my diploma in Mathematics in 1997 at ETH Zurich.
My three sons were born in 2006, 2007 and 2010, they account for the remaining and more turbulent part of my time.
