Workshop on career paths in research, public health and health care system administration

Are you an MD thinking about an alternative or parallel career path to clinical practice?

MDs beyond clinical practice is a half-day workshop for young MD-PhDs, MDs and senior medical students from UZH and other Swiss universities, interested in extra-clinical careers in research, public health and health care system administration. Workshop participants will share their experience and discuss extra-clinical career options with three high-profile guest MDs. With MDs beyond clinical practice, we aim to kick-start the Swiss community of young MDs in extra-clinical careers.

We hope to welcome participants from all Switzerland, and are looking forward to an exciting event!

Who can participate?

All MDs and senior medical students interested in a career in research, education, public health or health care system administration are welcome to join. Of you are interested but concerned about the distance to Zurich, please reach out to us.
