2 EBPI researchers awarded NRP 69 funding

Together with colleagues, EBPI researchers Sabine Rohrmann and David Fäh were awarded funding in Phase 2 of the Swiss National Science Foundation’s National Research Program (NRP) 69.

Sabine Rohrmann works on a team led by Matthias Stolze at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (known as FiBL). Their project will examine to what extent official dietary recommendations contradict or reinforce the objectives of sustainability in the food chain. Sabine Rohrmann also successfully led an NRP 69 project funded in Phase 1 of the 8-year initiative that focused on Vitamin D status in pregnancy and neonates and its relationship to chronic disease later in life.

David Fäh collaborates with Jürg Minsch from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and others on a project entitled NOVANIMAL, which examines how the consumption of meat and dairy products influences sustainability goals.
